Jonathan began his working career as an accountant at Arthur Anderson in London, before spending a number of years living and working in Australia on secondment.

On returning to the UK, Jon has spent much of the last decade working in the corporate finance sector - both for advisory firms and spin outs looking to attract investment. He has worked for, and advised, several successful Oxford University spin-out ventures, including a sale to a Silicon Valley firm.

He joined North East Finance in January 2009
