Alastair Smith, Access to Finance Manager
Alastair joined North East Finance from Muckle LLP in November 2008 to help shape future investment funds for the North East. He is a trained corporate finance solicitor.
Before moving to the North East, he was based in Edinburgh and worked for Scottish Enterprise, the Scottish Regional Development Agency, managing several major investment funds north of the border.
He is involved in creating a framework for the £125 million pot of money secured by the region from the Joint European Resources for Micro to Medium Enterprises Initiative (JEREMIE) to be invested in local businesses.
